Lett says, “signs of feathering could mean that a vehicle’s ball joints, struts, or bushings have failed, causing changes to the toe or tracking to change while driving.” Uneven tyre wear caused by feathering may be gradually reversed by means of correct alignments and inspection of the vehicle’s suspension components.
